Dette direktiv bør sikre, at personer med handicap har tilstrækkelig adgang til de oplysninger, der i henhold hertil gives til ansøgere til en stilling og arbejdstagere. Sådanne oplysninger bør gives til disse personer under hensyntagen til deres særlige handicap og bistand og støtte gives i et format og en passende form med henblik på at sikre, at de har adgang til og forstår oplysningerne. Dette kan bl.a. indebære, at oplysningerne stilles til rådighed på en for dem forståelig måde i en skrifttype af passende størrelse, med tilstrækkelig kontrast eller i et andet format, der er passende i forhold til typen af deres handicap. Hvis det er relevant, finder Europa-Parlamentets og Rådets direktiv (EU) 2016/2102 ( 12 ) anvendelse.

This Directive should ensure that persons with disabilities have adequate access to the information provided pursuant to it to applicants for employment and workers. Such information should be provided to those persons taking into account their particular disabilities, in a format and appropriate form of assistance and support to ensure their access to and comprehension of the information. This could include the provision of information in an understandable way which they can perceive, in fonts of adequate size, using sufficient contrast or other format appropriate to the type of their disability. Where relevant, Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 12 ) applies.
