Forpligtelser for godkendte operatører
stk. 1 Hvis en godkendt operatør har til hensigt at udstede et plantepas, skal vedkommende identificere og overvåge de punkter i produktionsprocessen og de faser i forbindelse med flytningen af planter, planteprodukter eller andre objekter, som er af kritisk betydning for så vidt angår overholdelse af artikel 37, stk. 1, artikel 41, stk. 1, artikel 85 og 87 samt, hvor det er relevant, artikel 33, stk. 2, artikel 54, stk. 1, og artikel 86 samt de regler, der er vedtaget i henhold til af artikel 28, stk. 1, 2 og 3, artikel 30, stk. 1, 3 og 4, og i givet fald artikel 37, stk. 4. Den pågældende operatør skal i mindst tre år føre fortegnelser over identificering og overvågning af disse punkter og faser.
stk. 2 Den i stk. 1 omhandlede godkendte operatør skal sikre, at der, når det er nødvendigt, sørges for passende uddannelse af det personale, som er involveret i undersøgelserne omhandlet i artikel 87, for at sikre, at dette personale er i besiddelse af den nødvendige viden til at kunne foretage sådanne undersøgelser.

Obligations of authorised operators
stk. 1 Where an authorised operator intends to issue a plant passport, it shall identify and monitor the points of its production process, and the points concerning the movement of plants, plant products and other objects, which are critical as regards compliance with Article 37(1), Article 41(1), Articles 85 and 87 and, where applicable, Article 33(2), Article 54(1) and Article 86, and the rules adopted pursuant to Article 28(1), (2) and (3), Article 30(1), (3) and (4), and, where applicable, Article 37(4). It shall keep for at least three years records concerning the identification and monitoring of those points.
stk. 2 The authorised operator referred to in paragraph 1 shall ensure that appropriate training is provided, when necessary, to its personnel involved in the examinations referred to in Article 87, in order to ensure that that personnel possesses the necessary knowledge to carry out those examinations.
