For at sikre korrekt mærkning af emballagemateriale af træ og tage hensyn til udviklingen af internationale standarder, navnlig ISPM15, bør beføjelsen til at vedtage retsakter delegeres til Kommissionen i overensstemmelse med artikel 290 i TEUF for så vidt angår ændring og supplering af kravene vedrørende emballagemateriale af træ, herunder indførelse heraf på Unionens område, og angivelse af krav til godkendelse af registrerede operatører til at foretage mærkning af emballagemateriale af træ på Unionens område.

In order to ensure correct marking of wood packaging material and to take into account the development of international standards, and in particular of ISPM15, the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 TFEU should be delegated to the Commission in respect of amending and supplementing the requirements concerning wood packaging material, including its introduction into the Union territory, and of specifying the requirements for authorisation of registered operators to apply the mark of wood packaging material in the Union territory.
