stk. 1 Fabrikanten kan ved skriftlig fuldmagt udpege en bemyndiget repræsentant. Forpligtelserne i henhold til artikel 7, stk. 1, og udarbejdelsen af teknisk dokumentation er ikke en del af den bemyndigede repræsentants fuldmagt.
stk. 2 En bemyndiget repræsentant udfører de opgaver, der er fastsat i fuldmagten fra fabrikanten. Fuldmagten skal som minimum sætte den bemyndigede repræsentant i stand til: a) at opbevare EU-overensstemmelseserklæringen og den tekniske dokumentation, så den står til rådighed for markedstilsynsmyndigheder i fem år b) på grundlag af en kompetent national myndigheds begrundede anmodning, at give den al den information og dokumentation, der er nødvendig for at konstatere produktets overensstemmelse med lovgivningen c) at samarbejde med de nationale kompetente myndigheder, hvis disse anmoder herom, om enhver foranstaltning, der træffes for at afhjælpe den manglende opfyldelse af de gældende tilgængelighedskrav for de produkter, der er omfattet af fuldmagten.

stk. 1 A manufacturer may, by a written mandate, appoint an authorised representative. The obligations laid down in Article 7(1) and the drawing up of technical documentation shall not form part of the authorised representative’s mandate.
stk. 2 An authorised representative shall perform the tasks specified in the mandate received from the manufacturer. The mandate shall allow the authorised representative to do at least the following: (a) keep the EU declaration of conformity and the technical documentation at the disposal of market surveillance authorities for five years; (b) further to a reasoned request from a competent national authority, provide that authority with all the information and documentation necessary to demonstrate the conformity of a product; (c) cooperate with the competent national authorities, at their request, on any action taken to eliminate the non-compliance with the applicable accessibility requirements of products covered by their mandate.
